The 120 Hour Film Festival was founded in February of 2013 by Rattlestick West/Sherry Theater Founder and Artistic Director Scott Haze.

Three years ago, Scott Haze had a vision of challenging filmmakers to a process that would test the limits of their creativity and ability. So many independent projects had started, moved at a snails pace, and ultimately never came to fruition. What could be done to foster the growth of a filmmaker, challenge their creativity and productivity, and ultimately hold them accountable to a goal for completion?
 

With that question, the 120 Hour Film Festival was born.

Over the last three years, many talented filmmakers have taken part in the challenge with tremendous success. It has been an opportunity for directors, producers, writers, cinematographers, actors, editors and more to push their skills to the limit over the course of five days. The results have been inspiring, fun, shocking and mesmerizing.

This year we aim to elevate the work on several different fronts. Now officially partnered with Rattlestick West - founded by Scott Haze, David Van Asselt and James Franco - the 120 Hour Film Festival will prove to be a four days of entertainment in addition to creativity. 

The 120 Hour Film Festival is also sponsored by  The Art Of Elysium, Living The Dream Films, The Three Clubs, The Los Angeles Film School, Studio 4 and For Good.

The festival, hosted at The Three Clubs, will also feature unique live performances nightly, helping to facilitate a more organic approach to networking and mixers. Voted the Best Bar in Hollywood by LA Weekly in 2014, The Three Clubs is sure to deliver a welcoming place for guests and filmmakers alike to be entertained, learn and let loose.
